例文2) The politician, driven by a desire to confront rival country's growing influence,
signed a bill to double the chest of the organization, which finances businesses
in developing countries.
「chest」は資金の意味で使用しています。
confront : 立ちはだかる
・無生物主語
例文1) Proliferation of rumors and misleading posts on the web has led to concerns that
the site is inflaming anger.
proliferation : 拡散
inflame : 煽り立てる
例文2) The chase of tech talent has been global for decades.
